Message From The Artist

“Picking up where the last album left off, Seeping Evocation throws you right into the abyss of pure chaos with no hold barred. Psychotic, obscure, and utterly without borders, this is music that does whatever it wants whenever it wants. Not for the faint of heart or those wanting anything remotely poppy or catchy. But if you look beneath the surface, there is a flow, purpose, and order to it all”

More About the Album:

Many ask the question “why is modern technical death metal so sterile, linear and overproduced?” While the answer to that question is not a simple one Acausal Intrusion are a clear solution to the problem at hand. They are the antithesis of the dime a dozen overly clean, formulaic bands that have risen to popularity in the technical realm these last two decades.

The unstoppable duo of Nythroth and Cave Ritual return with yet another offering of mind shreddingly dissonant and experimental technical death metal. After their polarizing debut album Nulitas in 2021 the duo return with what can be clearly viewed as both a continuation and a refinement of their previous work.

You’ll notice fairly early into the album that things feel more polished and focused. While the entire release is still underpinned by a chaotic and untamed essence, it feels as if this raw power has begun to be focused (or maybe channeled is the correct word) towards something more clearly defined.

Flurried technical guitar work meets disorienting, chaotic drums to form a dizzying maelstrom of rage and power. All of this is steeped in a thick coat of esotericism and mysticism, something that is almost palpable throughout the release. When these elements meet the album’s crushing guttural vocals it can all be a little overwhelming and may result in overstimulation for those less seasoned in the realm of dissonant death metal.

The album may feel to some as if it straddles two conflicting worlds, with some of the newer elements actively clashing with those of the past. You wouldn’t be wrong here, as the album serves as something of a transitionary phase in the evolution of Acausal’s form. What will this mean for their next release? You’ll have to wait and see, but in the meantime if you pay attention to what is really at play on Seeping Evocation then that vision should become clear.
